Yes/ No/ SUMMARY STATEMENT: The board of directors of the North Sound Regional Support Network, a regional mental health advisory board, has determined that staff positions in the Network which are necessary to implementing this new concept, should be covti-�KUecQ•� RECOMMENDED ACTION, COMMITTEE ACTION .(including dates): COUNCIL ACTION (including dates): 7 -24 -90 Passed unanimously Related File Numbers: Ordinance or Resolution Number 090-69 2 4 6 8 10 12 14 16 18 20 22 24 26 �g 30 32 34 36 38 40 42 44 46 48 50 52 NSRSNSup.790 SPONSORED BY: Consent PROPOSED BY: Executive INTRODUCTION DATE: 7-10 -90 ORDINANCE NO. 90-69 REVISION TO THE 1990 COMBINED TREATMENT SERVICES APPROPRIATION TO CONTINUE NORTH SOUND REGIONAL SUPPORT NETWORK PLANNING STAFF ASSISTANCE WHEREAS, the North Sound Regional Support Network board of directors has determined it advisable to continue the planning staff support through December of 1990 at which time state monies may be available for continuing the positions; and WHEREAS, Whatcom County's share of that locally supported continuation of NSRSN staff is 18% of the total $44,400; and WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the County to continue to provide the needed support to regionalizing Mental Health Care services; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED the Whatcom County Council hereby revises the 1990 Combined Treatment Fund budget plan as follows: RESOURCES: 10400 - 397.64.00.0000 C.E. Trans to Mental Health $8,500 BUDGET PLAN REVISION(S): 10401- 564.11.41.0000 Professional Services $8,000 10401 - 564.11.43.0000 Travel 500 Total Enhancements $8,500 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that ordinance 89 -105 is hereby amended by adding $8,500 in appropriation authority to the 1990 Combined Treatment Services Fund.
