SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The sheriff's office has applied for and received a grant from the Washington
State Parks and Recreation Commission for the purchase of a lake patrol boat
which was not known at the time of the budget process. This ordinance will
allow the purchase of a boat plus reimbursement from the state..

10 REVISION TO THE 1990 CURRENT EXPENSE
11 FUND, SHERIFF'S OFFICEIBUDGET THEREIN, TO
12 PROVIDE ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION AUTHORITY

16 WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office has received a reimbursable grant from the
17 Washington State.Parks and Recreation Commission in the amount of $16,000.00
18 for the purchase of a lake patrol boat.

20 WHEREAS, the sheriff's office did not have the knowledge of this grant award
21 during the budget process and does not have the capital for this purchase.

23 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, the 1990 budget for the sheriff's office is
24 hereby revised as follows.
