Supplemental Budget Ordinance No. 16 adds appropriation to the following budgets:
1. The supplemental request for Superior Court in the Current Expense Fund appropriates $137,300.00 from
Current Expense Fund Balance for professional service contracts for conflict and guardian ad litem services.
2. The supplemental request for Non - Departmental in the Current Expense Fund appropriates $88,392.00
from Current Expense Fund Balance as follows: 1) $11,300 for Annual State Audit charges, and 2) $77,092 as
a transfer to the Debt Service Fund for debt service payment on the 1993 GO Bond.
3. The supplemental request for the Parks & Recreation Fund appropriates $20,170 from Park Fund balance
for the cash pay -out on an early retirement.
4. The supplemental request for the Health Fund appropriates $21,997 new grant money as follows:
1) $10,000 for Tuberculosis Program enhancement, and 2) $11,997 for HIV /AIDS program enhancement.

ORDINANCE NO. 93-084
AMENDMENT NO. 16 TO THE 1993 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 1993 budget was approved November, 1992; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 1993
budget; and,
WHEREAS, those modifications have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that
the 1993 Whatcom County budget ordinance 92 -89 is hereby amended by adding the
following amounts to the departments included therein:
Current Expense
Superior Court 137,300.00
Non - Departmental 88 3_ 92.00
Total Current Expense 225 692.00
Other Funds
Park & Recreation Fund 20,170.00
Health Fund 21,997.00
Total Other Funds 42167.00
Total Supplemental $267,859.00
