This revolving checking account was set up to allow timely payment of federal employment taxes. It has not been

ORDINANCE NO. 93 -083
TERMINATION OF AN AUDITOR'S
REVOLVING CHECKING ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, Ordinance 90 -51 established an Auditor's revolving checking
account for timely payment of federal taxes; and
WHEREAS, this account has not been used since its inception; and
WHEREAS, the Auditor's office has requested the account be closed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that
the Auditor's revolving checking account in the amount of $20,000 is hereby closed and
the Treasurer is ordered to return the monies to the Current Expense Fund unreserved
balance.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that ordinance 90 -51 is hereby repealed in its
entirety.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of Nov' , 1993.
