Supplemental Budget Ordinance No. 15 adds appropriation to the following budgets:
1, The supplemental request for Non - Departmental in the Current Expense Fund appropriates $55,000.00
from Current Expense Fund Balance for cash payout of three employees planning retirement and /or leaving
County's employ before the end of 1993.
2. The supplemental request for the Health Fund appropriates new grant monies for WIC program
enhancement. The approved request will authorize an additional .5 FTE in the Health Department for added
service to 100 WIC clients.

ORDINANCE NO. 93 -070
AMENDMENT NO. 15 TO THE 1993 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 1993 budget was approved November, 1992; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 1993
budget; and,
WHEREAS, those modifications have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council.
NOW, .THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that
the 1993 Whatcom County budget ordinance 92 -89 is hereby amended by adding the
following amounts to the departments included therein:
Current Expense
Non - Departmental 75,000.00
Planning 10 0_00.00
Total Current Expense 85 000.00
Other Funds

Health Fund
