Supplemental Budget Ordinance No. 14 adds appropriation to the following budgets:
1.- The supplemental request for the Assessor's Office and the Treasurer's office appropriates $7,000.00 from
Current Expense Fund Balance for computer programming needs to implement collection modifications for Fire
Patrol Assessments. The Current Expense Fund will be reimbursed for the computer programming costs with
a $0.50 per parcel charge authorized by ESHB 1320. The Fire Patrol per parcel charge will be included in the
Unified Fee Schedule ordinance.
2. The supplemental request for the Nor -Bell Fund appropriates fund balance for the final principal and
interest payment to the Physical Plant Fund and closes out cash remaining to the Current Expense Fund. The
ordinance will also close out the Nor -Bell Fund.
3. The supplemental request for the Building Maintenance Fund appropriates a residual equity transfer in
from Current Expense (already budgeted in 1993) to replace the Jail kitchen's broken, 10 -year old ice machine.

ORDINANCE NO. 93 -061
AMENDMENT NO. 14 TO THE 1993 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 1993 budget was approved November, 1992; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 1993
budget; and,
WHEREAS, those modifications have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that
the 1993 Whatcom County budget ordinance 92 -89 is hereby amended by adding the
following amounts to the departments included therein:
Current Expense
Information Services 7,000.00
Total Current Expense U&0-0.00
Other Funds
Nor -Bell Fund 192,202.70
Building Maintenance Fund 2,750.00
Health Fund 14,000.00
Total Other Funds $208,952.70
Total Supplemental $215,952.70
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that Fund #103, the Nor -Bell Fund, is closed.
