ORDINANCE NO. 93 -059
REVISION TO ORDINANCE 92 -036
ELIMINATING THE SUNSET DATE
WHEREAS, both of the Divisions of Mental health and Alcohol and Substance Abuse of the
Department of Social and Health Services have contracted funds to Whatcom County to provide for
services to consumers and to community groups working with prevention; and
WHEREAS, these funds allow for the payment of the cost of specific and unusual therapy, for
essential daily living, recreation, supervision, conference attendance, conference preparation and set-
up, and a number of other items either to treat or prevent problems of either Mental Illness or
Substance Abuse in the Community;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, this revolving account shall continue in existence without
sunset date until and unless funds for the purpose stated above are withdrawn from the County.
ADOPTED this 28th day of Sept. , 1993.
