ORDINANCE NO. 93 -025
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 92 -077
ASSIGNING THE NON- EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE FROM
COUNTRY CABLE TV TO
NORTHLAND CABLE PROPERTIES SEVEN LIMITED PARTNERSHIP
WHEREAS, on October 28, 1992, a franchise was granted to Country Cable,
Inc. for a period of. twenty -five (25) years; and
WHEREAS, Country Cable, Inc. desires to assign all rights, obligations,
title, and interest over to Northland Cable Properties Seven Limited Partnership
upon consummation of the sale of the system; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that, pursuant to Section 17 of Ordinance
92 -077, the Whatcom County Council hereby consents to the transfer and assignment
of the franchise to Northland Cable Properties Seven Limited Partnership which
shall receive all of the benefits and be held to all of the responsibilities of
said franchise after consummation of the sale described above.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this consent shall be considered effective
as of the date of consummation of the sale to Northland Cable Properties Seven
Limited Partnership as described above.
