SUMMARY STATEMENT-
.n ordinance authorizing the purchase of real,property by the Fair Board and amending the 1993 budget
for the Fair Fund to allow for the purchase of the real property.

AMENDMENT TO 1993 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 1993 budget was approved November, 1992.
WHEREAS, resources are available in the Fair fund which were not anticipated
when the 1993 budget was adopted.
WHEREAS, real property is available at 1854 Kok Road which the Northwest
Washington Fair Board would like to purchase for fair purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that
the Northwest Washington Fair Board is authorized to purchased the real property at
1854 Kok Road, and
FURTHER, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 1993
Whatcom County budget, ordinance 92 -89 is hereby amended by adding $151,000 to the
Fair Fund appropriation for 1993.
