ORDINANCE NO.
93 -005
AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE MATTER OF
PLACING A STOP SIGNS ON VARIOUS
COUNTY ROADS
WHEREAS, in compliance with RCW 46.61.200 and 47.36.110, it is found
necessary and expedient to place traffic control signs on certain County Roads;
and
. WHEREAS, an engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's
office; and it was found that conditions warrant intersectional control modification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that intersectional traffic control
be modified at the following locations:
1) Install a stop sign northbound on Pincher Street at Spring Coulee Drive;
Section 15, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, W.M.
2) Install a stop sign eastbound on Thetis Road at Salt Spring Drive; Section
8, Township 38 North, Range 1 East, W.M.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed
to post the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the
Washington State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to Whatcom County Code
Section 10.16.
ADOPTED this 26th day of January , 1993.
