Supplemental Budget Ordinance No. 11 adds appropriation to the following budgets:
1. The supplemental request for Non - Departmental appropriates $26,493 from Current Expense fund
balance for the Nooksack Steering Committee Task Orders.
2. The supplemental request for the Election Reserve Fund appropriates $38,561 from Election Reserve
fund balance to cover 1994 costs of hardware, software and installation of the voter management system.
3. The supplemental request for the Emergency Management Fund appropriates $27,743 from two revenue
sources: a) $15,743 from new grant revenue for enhancement of the County's, emergency warning and
communications system, and b) $12,000 from Emergency Management fund balance for computer equipment.

ORDINANCE NO. 94 -074
AMENDMENT NO. 11 TO THE 1994 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 1994 budget was approved February 8, 1994; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 1994
budget; and,
WHEREAS, those modifications have been assembled here for deliberation by the
Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the
1994 Whatcom County budget ordinance 94 -009 is hereby amended by adding the following
amounts to the departments included therein:
Current Expense Fund:
Non - Departmental 261493
Total Current Expense 26.493
Other Funds:
Election Reserve 38,561
Emergency Management 27,743
Total Other Funds 66,304
Total Supplemental 92,797
