An Engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's office and it was determined that a "No Parking
Anytime" zone be established on the south side of the West Smith Road from 500 feet east to 1160 feet east of the
centerline of Northwest Road.

1 ORDINANCE NO. 94 -069
2 AN ORDINANCE REGARDING ESTABLISHING PARKING CONTROL
3 ON WEST SMITH ROAD
4 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council is authorized under RCW 46.61.570 to
5 restrict parking on certain County roads; and
6 WHEREAS, an engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's
7 office;
8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that a No Parking Anytime zone be
9 established on W. Smith Road on the South side of the road from 500 feet East to 1160 feet
10 East of the Centerline of Northwest Road, Section 34, Township 39 North, Range 2 East,
11 W.M., comprising a total length of 660 feet.
12 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to install
13 the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the Washington State Patrol
14 be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
15 Provisions of this ordinance. are hereby added to Whatcom County Code, Section
16 10.24.
