An Engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's office and it was determined that a speed limit of 35
mph is merited on Arnie Road between Blaine Road and Kickerville Road.

1 ORDINANCE NO. 94 -066
2 AN ORDINANCE REGARDING ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMITS
3 ON CERTAIN COUNTY ROADS
4 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council is authorized under RCW 46.61.415 to
5 establish speed limits on certain County roads; and
6 WHEREAS, an engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's
7 office;
8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that
9 the speed limits be established as follows:
10 35 mph on Arnie Road from the Blaine Road to Kickerville Road, within
11 Section 29, 32, Township 40 North, Range 1 East, W.M.
12 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to
13 install the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the Washington
14 State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
15 Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to Whatcom County Code, Section
16 10.04.050 and removed from Section 10.04.030.
17 ADOPTED this 8th day of Nov. , 1994.
