ORDINANCE NO. 94 -049
AMENDMENT NO. 7 TO THE 1994 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 1994 budget was approved February 8, 1994; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 1994
budget; and,
WHEREAS, those modifications have been assembled here for deliberation by the
Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the
1994 Whatcom County budget ordinance 94 -009 is hereby amended by adding the following
amounts to the departments included therein:
Current Expense Fund:

Other Funds:
Emergency Management Fund 2,900
Total Other Funds 2,900
Total Supplemental 2,900

PURPOSE OF TRANSFER OR SUPPLEMIIVTAL: (If more room is necessary attach
additional sheet.)
To provide funding for a series of local hazardous materials tabletop training exercises and
updating, printing and distribution of the local hazardous materials contingency plan. All
funds expended in this project will be reimbursed through a U.S. Department of
Transportation /Washington Department of Community, Trande and Economic Development
grant.
