ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE MATTER OF
INSTALLING STOP SIGNS CERTAIN COUNTY ROADS
WHEREAS, in compliance with RCW 46.61.200 and 47.36.110, it is found
necessary and expedient to modify traffic control signs on certain County
Roads; and
WHEREAS, an engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's
office; and it was found that conditions warrant intesectional control
modification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that intersectional traffic control
be modified at the following location:
1) Install a stop sign southbound on East 16th Place at Hillsdale
Road; Section 15, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, W.M.
2 ) Install a stop sign eastbound on Roma Road at Britton Road; Section
15, Township 38 North, Range 3 East; W.M.
3) Install a stop sign northbound on Tamarack Road at Roma Road;
Section 15, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, W.M.
4) Install a stop sign northbound on Tilbury Road at Limestone Road;
Section 15, Township 40 North, Range 5 East, W.M.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to
install the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the
Washington State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
Provisions of this ordinance hereby amend Whatcom County Code Section
10.16.
