A RESOLUTION FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF HEAR-
ING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR JOHNSON CREEK
DRAINT.GE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 31, AND
DIRECTING THE CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the Clerk of the
Whatcom County Council the preliminary assessment roll for Johnson
Creek Drainage Improvement District No. 31, located in Township
41 North, Range 4 East of W.M., and all or portions of Section 6,
5, 4, 3, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 18, 17, 19, 20; portions of 1, 12, 13, 24
and 25, Township 40 North, Range 3 East of W.M. in Whatcom County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that public hearing be
held on said assessment roll, at 7 :30 p.m. or as soon thereafter
as possible, on Thursday, February 7 , 1930 ,
in the Council Chambers on the second floor of the Whatcom County
Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington, and all
persons who desire to object to the assessment roll be notified
to make their objections in writing and file them with the Clerk
of the Council prior to the date of hearing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk give notice of
the time, place and purpose of said public hearing by publication
in the official newspaper for three successive weeks, the last
publication being made at least seven (7) days nor more than

1 fourteen (14) days prior to the date of the hearing, and also,
2 if so directed, by publishing in one other newspaper of the
3 County, published in or near the drainage improvement district.
