RESOLUTION NO.,- 79 -39
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WHATCOM COUNTY
EMPLOY A. PROFESSIOVAL NEGOTIATOR.
WHEREAS, Whatcom County has employees with membership in
three (3) unions; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best financial interest of Whatcom
County to employ a professional negotiator for the purposes of
negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements with the above -
referenced Unions; and
NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Council
authorizes and directs VIhatcom Countv to retain a professional
negotiator for the purposes of negotiating Collective Bargaining
Agreements pursuant to those guidelines established by the County
Council unless this provision A s waived by the County Council.
