RESOLUTION NO. 79 -33
A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE FUNDING OF THE RAILROAD SAFETY
PROGRAM TO ELIMINATE HIGH HAZARD LOCATIONS.
WHEREAS, R R S funding has been requested for the followingz
project:
1. Hovander Crossing f2B- 105.10
and,
WHEREAS, Whatcom County having complied, or hereby agreeing
to comply, with the terms and conditions set forth in (1)
Title 23, U.S. Code, Highways, (2) the regulations issued
pursuant thereto, (3) the policies and procedures promulgated
by the Department of Highways, and (10 the Federal -Aid project
agreement entered into betweem the State and 'Federal Govern-
ment, relative to the above named project , and
WHEREAS, Whatcom County further stipulates that pursuant to said
Title.23, regulations, and policies and procedures, and as a
condition to payment of the Federal funds obligated, it accepts
and will comply with the applicable provisions set forth on
State Highway Forms 140 -039, 140 -039B and 140 -039C revised
July, 1975,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Whatcom County will abide
by the above conditions and will hereby carry out the above
program within FY -79 - FY -80 and FY -81.
