A RESOLUTION FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR ROAD
IMPROVE'IENT DISTRICT NO. 4, BIRCH CREST
ESTATES, DIVISION I AND TRACT A; AND
DIRECTING THE CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE THEREOF.
Whereas, there has been filed with the
Clerk of the Whatcom County Council the
preliminary assessment roll for Whatcom
County Road Improvement District No. 4
in Birch Crest Estate, Division No. 1,
Southeast Quarter of Northwest Quarter
of Section 31, Township 40 North, Range
1 East of W.14., recorded in Book 9 of
Plats, pages 95 and 96, in the Auditor's
Office of Whatcom County, Washington ",
and Tract A.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that public hearing be
held on said assessment roll., at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter
as possible, on Thursday, December 6 , 1979, in the Council Chamber
on the second fluor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand
Avenue, Bellingham, Washington, and all. persons who desire to
object to the assessment roll be notified to make their objections
in writing and file them with the Clerk of the Council. prior to
the date of hearing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk give notice of
the time, place, and purpose of said public hearing by publication
in the official newspaper five times, the last publication.
being made at least fifteen days prior to the date of the hearing,
and also by mailing a copy of such notice at least fifteen days
before the date fixed for hearing to each property owner or reputed[
owner within the district, at the address of such owner as shown

on the tax rolls of the County.
