HomeMy WebLinkAboutres1979-030DATE October 25, 1979 Introduced by Hansey Proposed by Auditor RESOLUTION # 79--30 IN THE MATTER OF THE CANCELLATION OF WARRANTS OVER ONE YEAR OLD WHEREAS, Revised Code of Washington 36.22.100 provides that the cancellations of warrants leaves the funds as if such warrants had never been drawn; AND WHEREAS, the salary fund is a composite of reimbursements from various other county funds budgeted for salaries and wages in the amount of their, payroll respectively; AND WHEREAS, various funds reimbursed the salary fund, and warrants were drawn against the salary fund as follows: FROM CURRENT EXPENSE FUND: DATE: WARRANT NO.: VENDOR: AMOUNT: January 31, 1977 14513A Charles Frakes $ .52 April 28, 1978 26470 John Franklin $ 20.94 $ 21.46 FROM NORTHWEST WASHINGTON FAIR FUND: DATE: WARRANT NO.': VENDOR: AMOUNT: October 5, 1977 21520 Dennis Miller $ 3.72 FROM WHATCOM COUNTY INFIRMARY FUND: DATE: WARRANT NO.: VENDOR: AMOUNT: July 3, 1978 28548 Rita Downey $ .02 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 1. that the County Auditor and County Treasurer be, and they are hereby, directed to cancel and strike from the records of Whatcom County warrants which, though called by the County Treasurer for payment, have not been presented within a period of one year from the date of their issuance, 2. that the County Treasurer and the County Auditor are directed to transfer from the Salary Fund to various funds as follows: To Current Expense Fund To Northwest Washington Fair Fund To Whatcom County Infirmary Fund $ 21.46 $ 3.72 $ .02 Passed the 25th day of _October , 1979.
