RESOLUTION NO. NO. 79 -5
APPOINTMENT OF THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE,
COUNTY TREASURER, AND COUNTY AUDITOR
AS WHATCOM COUNTY FINANCE COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, Revised Code of Washington 36.48.070 provides
that a county finance committee consist of the county
treasurer, the county auditor, and the chairman of the
board of county commissioners;
AND WHEREAS, the board of county commissioners was
abolished by the Whatcom County Charter, and there is
no longer any chairman of the Whatcom County Board of
County Commissioners;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED,
That the County Executive, the County Treasurer, and
the County Auditor, shall constitute the Whatcom County Finance
Committee for purposes of Revised Code of Washington Section
36.48.070.
Adopted in regular open session this 17th day of
May 1979.
