RESOLUTION NO. 80 -50
A RESOLUTION REGARDING A CHANGE OF ROAD NAME FROM
DOUGLAS AVENUE TO HOFF ROAD.
WHEREAS, Douglas Avenue is only one block long and
is also an extension of the Hoff Road, and
WHEREAS, there are two Whatcom County Roads with.a
similar name, which is confusing for the Post Office
Department, and
WHEREAS, residents of Douglas Ave. have petitioned
the County for a name change,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above name
change be made as follows:
CHANGE THE ROAD NAME OF DOUGLAS AVENUE TO
HOFF ROAD on that portion of Douglas Avenue
which lies west of Van Horn Lane and east of

Rural - ..'Avenue in Section 8, Township 38 North,
Range 2 East of W.M.
