RESOLUTION NO. 80 -48
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF RELEASING
CONTINGENCY FUNDS FOR WACO AND WSAC,
1980 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND, NON- DEPART-
MENTAL BUDGET
WHEREAS, Resolution Number 80 -14, dated February 21, 1980, was
passed by the County Council allowing for -the payment of dues to
WACO and WSAC, and
i ,411EREAS, such dues were retroactive to k anuary 1, 1980, and to
be paid th.ru August 31, 1980, and
WHEREAS, it was resolved that at a time prior to August 31, 1980,
it would be determined what further action to take regarding pay-
ment of dues to the two associations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Whatcom County Council
has considered the progress that has been made toward merger of
the two associations, and determined that the balance of dues
be paid as budgeted in the 1980 Whatcom County Budget, Current
Expense Fund, Non - Departmental Budget, line item 519- •90•- .31 -01.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be forwarded
to the offices of TIACO and WSAC, and the Whatcom County Auditor
for authorization of payment of dues as provided herein.
