RESOLUTION NO. 80-47
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF ACCEPTING
A PETITION TO FORM A COUNTY ROAD IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT FOR IMPROVEMENT OF CORONADO,
COLUMBUS, AND LEWIS AVENUES IN THE AMENDED
PLAT OF GENEVA AND SOUTH GENEVA ON LAKE
WHATCOM TO COUNTY STANDARDS.
WHEREAS,•property owners of more than 511/o of the
land area within the limits of the Road Improvement
District to be created petitioned for the formation
of a Road Improvement. District pursuant to RCW 36.88.050
for the construction of roads within the rights of way
of Coronado Avenue from Fremont Avenue to Lewis Street,
Columbus Street from Coronado Avenue to Beecher Avenue,
and Lewis Street from Coronado Avenue to Beecher Avenue
within the Amended Plat of Geneva and South Geneva on
Lake Whatcom, subdivisions in Section 35, Township 38
North, Range 3 East of W. M., Whatcom County, Washington,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County
Council, that Whatcom County does, hereby,•accept the
petition for the formation of a Road Improvement District
to construct to County Standards, Coronado .Avenue from
Fremont Avenue to Lewis Street, Columbus Street from
Coronado Avenue to,Beecher Avenue,'and Lewis Street from
Coronado Avenue to Beecher Avenue within the Amended Plat
of Geneva land. South Geneva on-Lake Whatcom in Section 25,
Township 38 North, ,Range 3 East of W.M., Whatcom County,
Washington.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Whatcom County
Engineer is authorized.to .proceed with expenditure of
Resolution -,1

funds to set forth the nature and territorial extent
of the improvement petitioned for; description of the
proposed district boundaries, the total estimated cost,
the estimated amount.of the cost to be borne by each
property owner, and other information pertinent for
adopting a'Resolution of Intention.
