RESOLUTION NO. 80--27
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF DECLARING THE "LYNDEN
TOWNSHIP HALL" AS SURPLUS PROPERTY
PREAMBLE: The Lynden Township Hall., the legal description
of which is:
Tax 1.4
Section 2.1 Township 40 Range 3 East
Beginning on Easterly line of Government Lot 1 and the
Northerly line of County Road #28; thence westerly along
said road line 100 feet; thence North parallel- to the
East line of Government Lot 1 to the Southerly line of
Chicago, - Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway right -
of -way; thence Easterly of said Railway right -of -way
line to the East line of Government Lot 1; thence South
to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, the above is property of the County of Whatcom,
State of Washington, and the Whatcom County Council., has, by a
majority vote, determined that it is for the best interest of the
County and the people thereof that said property be sold, due to
the fact that it is located in Lynden., rand is of no value to the
people of Whatcom County for the foreseeable future.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council.
that a public hearing on the matter of the sale of said property
be held on the 5th day of June 1980, at 7:30 o'clock
p.m.
at
Bell in
Washington.
BE
IT FURTHER
RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Council give
;entice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by Law.
