A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF WHATCOM
COUNTY, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING `1'HE ISSUANCE OF
AN INTERIM WARRANT FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING
PART OF THE COST OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONSOLIDATED
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 31
WHEREAS, the County Council of Whatcom County, Washington,
has by Resolution 81 -21 finally adopted on July 2, 1981, ratified
and approved the Johnson Creek Watershed Improvement Project (the
"Project ") within Consolidated-Drainage Improvement District No. 31
(the "District ") and has provided for the issuance of interim
warrants pending the issuance.of bonds of the District; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the District has
received and approved by resolution vouchers for a portion of the
costs of.construction of the Project, which vouchers have been
verified by two members of the Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary and desirable to approve the
issuance of an interim financing warrant pursuant to said Resolu-
tions of the Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Council of
Whatcom County, Washington, as follows:
An interim warrant for financing part of the cost of
improvements in the District is hereby approved as follows:

Amount $1,683.26
Initial Interest Rate 11.7%
Purchaser Northwestern Commercial
Bank
Aggregate Amount of Invoices
Attached $1,683.26
Proceeds of the warrant shall be applied to the payment of the
costs and expenses of the Johnson Creek Watershed Project as evi-
