DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH
IA'I'ERFAQ, 1.''hatcom County cooperates with the City of Bellingham
lin providing services through the Bellingham /Whatcom County District
Department of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to indicate the level of funding to
be provided in the 19P1 budget year to allow the Department to
prepare its annual budget.
NOW, TIIEPEFOPF, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the intention of the
Whatcom County Council to fund the District health Department in
the amount of $441,704.00 less the amount that shall be contributed
by the small towns in the County.
BE IT FURTFER RESOLVED that it is the intention of the Whatcom
County Council to provide Federal Shared Revenue funds in the amoun
of $20,463.00 for th.e'use of the Visiting Nurse Association through
the Bellingham /P?hatcom County District Department of Public Health.
