A RESOLUTION IN THE, ?,IATTIIP OF RECOMMENDING
THAT I "ITATCOM COUNTY P'E GIVEN DISASTER. DESIG-
NATION
WHEREAS, Whatcom County has experienced excessive rainfall
in April, May and June, 1981, and
T.'IHEREAS, this excessive rainfall prevented some farmers from
even planting their crops and has caused extensive damage and
reduced production to crops that were planted or growing;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Whatcom County Council
does hereby recommend that Whatcom County be given Disaster
Designation.
