RESOLUTION NO. 82 -58
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
TO PROVIDE FOR RECREATIONAL
VEHICLE PARKS AND CAMPGROUNDS
IN THE S4 ZONING DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Council has reviewed the recommendations of the
Planning Commission and the Planning Agency concerning the above
matter;. and,
WHEREAS, Council wishes to consider a change of the Planning
Commission's recommendation for amendment of the zoning text;
NOW., THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1. A public hearing is hereby set to consider the following
change of the proposed amendment:
Change the first paragraph as follows:
"Recreational vehicle parks and
campgrounds located on parcels
of land within or pertly primarily
within a distance of three fourths
(3/4) miles of the RESORT DISTRICT -
HIGH DENSITY (RDH) Zone, and north
of the Birch Bay - Lynden Road,
provided: . . ..."
2. The hearing shall be held furing the regular meeting of
the Whatcom County Council beginning at 7:30 p.m. on December 16,
1982 in the Council hearing room.
