RESOLUTION NO. 82 -49
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR DECLARING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF PROPERTY OWNED
6 BY WHATCOM COUNTY SURPLUS PROPERTY PURSUANT TO RCW 36.34.020

WHEREAS, the following described property, situated in the County
8
of Whatcom, State of Washington,. located in the townsite of Maple Falls and
9
consisting of approximately 0.05 acres situated in Section 30, Township 40
10
North, Range 6 East of W.M., more particularly described as follows:
it
Beginning at a point 50 feet East of the Northeast corner
12
of Block 8 of the Original Townsite of Maple Falls; thence
13
21 of W.M. subject to the original plat of Maple Falls.
22 is now and has been the property of Whatcom County; and
23 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Executive has determined that it is in
24 the best interest of the County and the people thereof to sell said property.
25 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of Whatcom County,
26 Washington, that a public hearing on the matter of declaring surplus and
27 establishing a public hearing on the matter of sale -of said property shall be held
28 on 7th day of October 1982 at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter
29 as it is possible, in the Whatcom County Council Chambers, second floor, Whatcom
39 County Courthouse, Bellingham, Washington, and for the purpose of admitting testi-
31 mony for and against the selling of said property.
