RESOLUTION NO. 82.47
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE ANNEXATION
OF THE CITY OF NOOKSACK INTO THE WHATCOM
COUNTY RURAL LIBRARY DISTRICT.

WHEREAS, the City of Nooksack has passed an ordinance,
designated as Ordinance No. 222, declaring the intent of the City
to join the Whatcom County Rural Library District; and,
WHEREAS, said Ordinance states that the City Council of
the City of Nooksack finds that it is in the public interest of
the residents of the City to be included into the Whatcom County
Rural Library District; and,
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Rural Library District Board
of Trustees has conferred upon the matter and approved the annexat
of.the City of Nooksack into the Library District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE WHATCOM COUNTY
COUNCIL that a special election shall be held in the City of Nooksa
at the next date provided in. RCW 29.13.010 and the County Auditor
shall cause notice of such election to be given as provided for in
RCW 29.27.080, all as provided for in RCW 27.12.370..
