4 A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR DECLARING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF PROPERTY 014NED
5 BY WHATCOM COUNTY SURPLUS PROPERTY PURSUANT TO RCW 36.34.020.
6 WHEREAS, the following described property, situated in the County of
7 Whatcom, State of Washington, located on Marine Drive and consisting of 5.44
8 (plus or minus) acres situated in Section 15, Township 38 N., Range 2 E. of
9 W.M., particularly described as follows:
10 Beginning at a point 1,460.58 feet west of the northeast corner of
11 M.W. Roberts Donation Claim; thence south 996.60 feet to center of
12 Whatcom and Lummi Road; thence south 670 45' east 246.18 feet; thence
13 north 1092.96 feet; thence west 226.38 feet to the place of beginning.
14 is now and has been the property of Whatcom County; and
15 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Executive has determined that it is in the
16 best interest of the County and the people thereof to sell said property;
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of Whatcom County,
18 Washington, that a public hearing on the matter of declaring surplus and
19 establishing a public hearing on the matter of sale of said property be held
20 on 7th day of October 1982 at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter
21 as it is possible, in the Whatcom County Council Chambers, second floor, Whatcom
22 County Courthouse, Bellingham, Washington, for the purpose of admitting testi-
23 mony for and against the selling of said property.
24 PASSED this 2nd day of September 1982.
