RESOLUTION N0: 82 -39
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE DISPOSAL OF
WHATCOM COUNTY SURPLUS PROPERTY PURSUANT TO
REVISED CODE OF WASHINGTON 36.34.130
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 36.34.130 states "The board of county
commissioners may dispose of county property to another
governmental agency and may acquire property for the
county from another governmental agency by means of
private negotiation upon such terms as may be agreed
upon and for such consideration as may be deemed by
the board of county commissioners to be adequate. ", and
WHEREAS, the following described property:
One (1) 1974 Dodge Van Ambulance Superior Model
"61 ", Serial No. X068250
is now and has been the property of Whatcom County, and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Executive has determined that
it is in the best interest of the County and the.people
thereof to dispose of the aforementioned ambulance by
intergovernmental transfer of this ambulance which is no
longer in service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Whatcom County Council
does 4,preby authorize the Executive to sign and release the transfer
to one !(1) 1974 Dodge Van Ambulance Superior Model "61 ", Serial No.
X068250 to the City of Bellingham for disposal in the manner they
deem most appropriate, on the condition that all proceeds go into
the Whatcom Medic -I, (Ambulance) Fund.
PASSED this 1st day of July, 1982.
