6 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE'INTENTION OF WHATCOM
COUNTY TO WITHDRAW FROM MEMBERSHIP IN THE WHATCOM
7 COUNTY- BELLINGHAM PUBLIC HEALTH DISTRICT
8 WHEREAS, WHATCOM.�COUNTY has.heretofore joined in,the- •estab-
lishment of the Whatcom County- Bellingham Public Health
9 District, pursuant to Chapter 70.46 R.C.W.; and,,
10 WHEREAS, R X. W. 70.46.090 authorizes a county to wi t4draw.
from membership in a health district at the'end of a
11 calendar year upon at least six months notice of:its
.intention to withdraw at the ond,of the cal.padar: year; and,

WHEREAS, Th'e County Council of Whatcom County deems it to
13 be in the bes`i'` interest and welfare of Whatcom County to
declare its .intention ..to withdraw from the Whatcom County -

that notice is hereby'given pursuant to H.C.W. 70.46.090 that Whatec

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resol.ution No. 79 -4 establishing

a County wide District Board of .Health consisting of.eight: members

adopted by Council on May 10, 1979 is hereby repealed on December
23
31, 1982.'
