RESOLUTION NO. 82 -35
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO ROBBERY AND BURGLARY
ALARM REGULATION AND SETTING AN ANNUAL FEE FOR
MONITORING SERVICE AND FALSE ALARMS
WHEREAS, Whatcom County Council is enacted an ordinance
regulating burglary and robbery alarms having a terminal
in the City /County Joint Law Enforcement Communications
Center; and
WHEREAS, Whatcom County Council specifically desires to
set an annual service and maintenance fee for the moni-
toring of such alarm systems.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council
SECTION 1. Annual Fee
An annual service and maintenance fee for burglary and robbery
alarms terminating in the City /County Joint Law Enforcement Communi-
cations Center is $240.00, commencing- on the effective date of
Whatcom County Ordinance No. 82 -33 regulating burglary and robbery
alarm systems, and pro -rated for the year 1982.
SECTION 2. Fee for False Alarm
The fee for false alarms, imposed by Section 5.50.040C of the
Whatcom County Code is $25.00, commencing on the effective date of
Whatcom County Ordinance No. 82 -33 regulating burglary and robbery
alarm systems.
