A RESOLUTION OF INTENT OF THE WHATCOM COUN
COUNCIL TO APPROVE THE CONCEPT OF THE PROP
CONSOLIDATION OF VARIOUS WHATCOM COUNTY EL
PRECINCTS
WHEREAS, there are One Hundred Forty -Nine (149
electoral precincts in Whatcom County with an
average of Three Hundred Sixty (360) registere
voters per precinct, and
WHEREAS, to provide efficiency and reduce costs
it is deemed desirable to raise the number of
registered voters to an average of Seven Hundred
(700) per precinct with the proposed consolidation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the intent of the
Whatcom County Council to approve the concept of the consolidation
of various Whatcom County Elector.al.Precincts.
PASSED this 21st day of January 1982.
