A RESOLUTION IN THE HATTER OF ADOPTING
A SALAR.`.l. SCHEDULE FOR EXEMPT EMPLOYEES
OF NOR -BELL NURSING HOME
OR T11E YEAR 1984
WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish the salaries of the non-
union employees of Nor -Bell Nursing Home, and
WHEREAS, the Nor -Bell Board has recommended the salaries and benefi
of exempt employees be established as follows,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
(1) That the term "exempt" employee shall. include all employees not
included in the present collective bargaining unit
2) That the salaries of the exempt employees be established as set
forth in Exhibit A.
3) That all changes in salary and benefits as a result of enact-
ment of this Resolution shall become effective January 1st, 1984
4) That the eligible exempt employees shall be granted the
same benefits established for -the Union employees under the
Collective Bargaining Unit Contract for 1984.
5) That any change in salary or classification of non -union
employees covered by the attached schedule must receive prior
approval of the Whatcom County Council;
6) That in the event Nor -Bell Nursing Home should ever be affected
a strike of its employees, the County Executive is empowered to
authorize overtime pay for exempt employees during the period of
strike.
7) That in the event of clerical error and /or an exempt employee o
position is not included on this listing, or a salary is miscal
lated, salary and benefits for said employee shall be corrected
made retroactive to January 1, 1984.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall become effective
January 1st, 1984.
