RESOLUTION NO. 83 -65
RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE DEVOTED SERVICE OF
STACIA CHRISTOPHER AS DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENTAL
DISABILITIES OF WHATCOM COUNTY AND HONORING HER
CONTRIBUTION TO THE BETTERMENT OF THE COMMUNITY
WHEREAS, Stacia Christopher has tendered her final retirement
from service to the County of Whatcom; and
WHEREAS, Stacia Christopher first began her services to the
County as Developmental Disabilities Director on April 1, 1968,
for a total of fifteen (15) years; and
WHEREAS, Stacia Christopher has given unselfishly.of her time
and spirit to establish and operate the excellent Developmental
Disabilities Program for Whatcom County;oand,
WHEREAS, her service has been exemplified by hard work,
positive attitude and dedication to duty in the finest tradition
of public service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF WHATCOM, that the Whatcom County Council does by this resolution,
officially recognize the selfless dedication and service rendered tc
the County by Stacia Christopher, and does further extend to her
the gratitude of the community for a job well done.
PASSED this 15th day of December, 1983.
