RESOLUTION NO. 83 -50 '
CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL
OF PROPERTY WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES
OF WHATCOM COUNTY ROAD IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 1 (BIRCH BAY LIGHTING
DISTRICT) AND REMANDING ROLL TO THE
COUNTY TREASURER FOR COLLECTION.
WHEREAS, on Thursday, October 6, 1983, the Whatcom
County Council held a public hearing in the Whatcom County Court-
house, Bellingham, Washington, on the reassessment of properties
within the boundaries of Whatcom County Road Improvement District
No. 1 (Birch Bay Lighting District) in accordance with and as
provided for in RCW 36.88.090; and,
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council did determine that
the proposed assessment roll is equitable and just under the
conditions prevailing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the original
assessment roll for Whatcom County Road Improvement District No. 1
is hereby set aside and the reassessment of all properties within
said district is hereby ordered based upon the rate of $ .1865 per
lineal front foot, or $5.00 minimum charge.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Whatcom County Council
hereby certifies the reassessment roll and remands the same to the
Treasurer for collection.
