RESOLUTION NO. 83 -30
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
82 -61', THE WHATCOM COUNTY 1983 ROAD
CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM, FOR THE PURPOSE
OF ADDING CERTAIN STORM RESTORATION
WORK WHICH SHALL BE FUNDED BY THE
FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
WHEREAS, the 1983 Whatcom County Road Construction
program was adopted pursuant to Resolution No. 82 -61; and,
WHEREAS, the roads of Whatcom County suffered exten-
sive damage as the result of severe storm and weather conditions
in January of this year; and,
WHEREAS, Whatcom County will be receiving funds from
the federal highway administration to perform storm restoration
work upon County roads; and,
WHEREAS, the federal funds for this work must be made
a part of the County's annual,construction program and budgeted in
the Extraordinary Operations Project Account,(EP Account);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution
No. 82 -61, the 1983 Whatcom County Road Construction Program be,
and hereby is, amended to include those projects set forth as
Exhibit "A" attached hereto;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funds from the
Federal Highway Administration shall be placed in the Extraordinary

Operations Project Account (EP) in accordance with the procedures
outlined in the BARS Manual.
