RESOLUTION NO. 83 -25
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF SETTING A DATE
FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR DECLARING A CERTAIN
PARCEL OF PROPERTY, COWONLY KNOWN AS THE
LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP HALL, OWNED BY WEiATCOII COUNTY,
SURPLUS PROPERTY PURSUANT TO RCW 36.14.020.
WHEREAS, the following described property located in the County of
Whatcom, State of Washington, and situated in Section 21, Township 39 N,
Range 4 E of W.M., more particularly described as follows:
Commencing 40 feet west from southeast corner of
NE 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 21, Township 39 N, Range 4 E
of W.M., thence north 6 rods; thence west 8 rods;
thence south 6 rods;.thence east 8 rods to beginning.
Except part conveyed to State for highway. ALSO,
S. half of vacated road No. 544 abutting.
is now and has been the property of Whatcom County; and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Executive has determined that it is in
the best interest of the County and the people thereof to sell said property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of Whatcom County,
Washington, that a public hearing on the matter of declaring surplus and es-
tablishing a public hearing on the matter of sale of said property be held on
7th day of j uIy , 1983 at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter
as it is possible, in the Whatcom County Council Chambers, second floor, Whatcom
County Courthouse, Bellingham, Washington, for the purpose of admitting testi-
mony for and against the selling of said property.
