RESOLUTION NO. 83 -17
A RESOLUTION of the County Council of Whatcom
County, Washington, fixing the time and place
of hearing upon the assessment roll for
Johnson Creek Drainage Improvement District
No. 31.
WHEREAS, the assessment roll for Johnson Creek Drainage
Improvement District No. 31 has'been prepared and filed with the
County Clerk of Whatcom County, Washington, and the County
Council of Whatcom County, Washington, now desires to fix the
time and place for hearing thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the County Council of
Whatcom County, Washington, as follows:
Section 1. May 5 1983 at 7 :30 p.m. in the County
Courthouse of Whatcom County, Washington, in the City of Belling-
ham.. Washington, hereby is fixed as the time and place for
the open public hearing upon the assessment roll for Johnson
Creek Drainage Improvement District No. 31.
Section 2. The Clerk of the Council is hereby directed to
give notice of time and place of said hearing at least fifteen
(15) days before the date fixed therefor by mailing to the owners
or reputed owners of the property within Johnson Creek Drainage
Improvement District No. 31 whose names appear on the assessment
roll at the addresses shown- on the tax rolls of the County
Treasurer and in addition thereto to cause said notice to be
published in two consecutive issues of the official newspaper of
the County, the last publication to be at least fifteen (15) days
before the date fixed for such hearing.

Section 3. This resolution shall become effective upon its
passage and publication as required by law.
