RESOLUTION NO. 83 -16
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF WHATCOM
COUNTY ACCEPTING THE STATEMENT OF COSTS AND
EXPENSES FOR IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT.NO. 31, PROVIDING FOR AN
ADDITION TO SAID STATEMENT OF COSTS AND DIRECTING
THE BOARD OF APPRAISERS. TO FILE THE OATHS REQUIRED
BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the County Council has previously authorized by
Order approved August 9, 1979, the undertaking of certain impro
.to,the Johnson Creek Drainage Improvement District No. 31 ( "DID
No. 3111); and
WHEREAS, said improvements have been completed and accepted by
the County Engineer and all costs associated with said improvements
and the interim financing thereof have been assembled pursuant to
R.C.W. 85.08.360; and
WHEREAS, said statement of costs and expenses has been filed
with the Clerk of the Council; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed said statement of expenses
and finds same to be reasonable;,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT' RESOLVED by the County Council of What
County as follows:
Section 1, The statement of costs and expenses for the impr
ments to the Johnson Creek watershed area of Drainage Improvement
District No. 31 attached hereto and incorporated by this reference
herein (the ".Cost Statement ") shall be increased by the sum of
$10,265.66, which sum is 10% of the Cost Statement, pursuant to
R.C.W. 85.08.360, and said Cost Statement as adjusted is hereby
approved and accepted.

Section 2. The Board of Appraisers for Drainage Improve-
ment District No. 31, which includes Byron Moser,
G. C. Digerness and Edwin R. Henken is hereby
directed to take, subscribe, and file the oath required by RCW
85.08.360 and to apportion the total of said Cost Statement as
adjusted against the property and the county or counties, cities,
and towns within Drainage Improvement District No. 31, in propor-
tion to the benefits accruing thereto.
Introduced this 7th day of April , 1983.
