RESOLUTION NO. 83-14
A RESOLUTION FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING ON ASSESSMENT
ROLL FOR WHATCOM COUN'T'Y ROAD IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 5.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the Clerk of the Whatcom County
Council, the preliminary assessment roll for Whatcom County Road Improvement
District No. 5, in regard to the improvements to Coronado, Columbus and Lewis
Avenues, in the Amended Plat of Geneva and South Geneva, all within Section
35, Township 38 North, Range 3 East of W.M., recorded in Volume 2, page 14
and page 44, in the Auditor's Office of Whatom County, Washington.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing shall be held on said
assessment roll, on Thursday, April 27„ 1983, at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter
as possible, in the Coaeil Chambers on'the second floor of the Whatcom County
Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington. All persons who desire
to object to the assessment roll are hereby notified to make their objections
in writing and file them with the Clerk of the Council prior to the date of
hearing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk.of the Council shall give notice
of the time, place, and purpose of said public hearing by publication in the
official newspaper five times, the last publication being made at least fifteen
days prior to the date of the hearing, and also by mailing a copy of such notice
at least fifteen days before the date fixed for hearing to each property owner
or reputed owner within the district, at the address of such owner as shown on
the tax rolls of the County.
