RESOLUTION NO. 00 -1-44 .
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF ADOPTING
THE SALARY SCHEDULE FOR UNREPRESENTED
EMPLOYEES OF NOR -BELL NURSING HOME
FOR THE YEAR 1985
WHEREAS, it is necessary to adopt a salary schedule for the
Unrepresented Employees of Nor -Bell Nursing Home for the year
1985, and,
WHEREAS, the Nor -Bell Nursing Home Board of Trustees has recom-
mended the salaries and benefits of the unrepresented employees
be established as follows,
NOW THEREFORE,.BE IT RESOLVED:
(1) That the term "unrepresented employee" shall include all
- employees not included in the present collective bargaining
unit
2) That the salaries of the unrepresented employees be
established as set forth in Exhibit A.'
3) That all changes in salary and benefits as a result of enact-
ment of this Resolution shall become effective January lst,
1985.
4) That the eligible unrepresented employees shall be granted
the same benefits established for the Union employees under
the Collective Bargaining Unit Contract for 1985.

That any change in salary or classification of unrepresented
employees covered by the attached schedule must receive prior
approval of the Whatcom County Council;
That in the event Nor -Bell Nursing Home should ever be
affected by a strike of its employees, the County Executive
is empowered to authorize overtime pay for unrepresented
employees during the period of the strike.
That in the event of clerical error and /or an unrepresented
employee or position is not included on this listing, or a
salary is miscalculated, salary and benefits for said
employee shall be corrected and made retroactive to the
appropriate date, but in no case to a date earlier than
January 1, 1985.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No 83 -68 of the County
Council of Whatcom County, dated December 15, 1983 and all
ammendments thereto, are hereby recinded effective January 1st,
1985, and that this Resolution shall become effective that same
date.
