RESOLUTION NO. 84- 41
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF ADOPTING
THE WHATCOM COUNTY 1985 HOUSING AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN /NEEDS STATEMENT
WHEREAS, the State of Washington Department of Community Development
has selected Whatcom County to receive $87,350 to pay a portion of the cost of
the Nor -Bell Nursing Home share of the Nor -Bell sewer project; and
WHEREAS, Whatcom County is required to develop and submit a Housing and
Community Development Plan /Needs Statement to the State of Washington prior to
being reimbursed for any costs associated with the project; and
WHEREAS, the plan /needs statement required one public hearing; and
WHEREAS, on November 15, 1984 at the regular Council meeting a public
hearing was held and no objections were raised.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Whatcom County Council does
hereby adopt the Housing and Community Needs Statement and requests that the
County Executive forward an official copy of same to the State of Washington
Department of Community Development.
