RESOLUTION NO. 84 -40
A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE MATTER OF ADOPTION OF
THE 1984 UPDATED WHATCOM COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE
SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 70.95 R.C.W., Whatcom County did
prepare an updated Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the proposed plan and finds
it to be in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Whatcom County's Compre-
hensive Solid Waste Management Plan is hereby adopted, as set forth
in the attached Exhibit "A ".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this solid waste plan will be
submitted to the Department of Ecology of the State of Washington
for approval in accordance with R.C.W. 70.95.100.
PASSED this 5th day of November, 1984.
