A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF
THE SALE OF WHATCOM COUNTY SURPLUS PROPBRTY
AND THE SE1TI11G OF A DATE FOR
PUBLIC HEARING THEREOF
PURSUANT TO R.C.W. 36.34.020
WHEREAS, the following described property:
Mt. Baker Rim Division One, Block 1, Lot ?5, and Block 6, Lot 39
recorded as Mt. Baker Ri.m Division One, Volume II, pages 74 -76
Is now and has been they proper•t:v of Whatcom (County; and
WHEREAS, title to the above - described property was acquired by the County
through default in the payment of taxes; and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Executive has determined that it is in the best
interests of the County and the people thereof to sell the above - described
property;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the County Council of Whatcom County that a public
hearing on the matter of the sale of said property be held on the 4th
day of Oo I cat. t! :, 1011, at __7::')O P.M., or as soon thereafter an in
possible, in the Whatcom County Council Chambers, Second Floor, Whatcom
County Courthouse, Bellingham, Washington, for the purpose of admitting
testimony for and against the propriety of selling said property; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Countv Executive is hereby authorized to
remove said property from this sale uo to the day of the sale, if she deems
the property necessary for public Use; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, thfit the Clerk of the County Council. is directed to
give notice of such hearing to the manner Dresoribed by law.
