IN THE MATTER OF IMPROVING THE WOODS ROAD FROM THE KELLOGG ROAD SOUTHERLY 1400 FEET WITHIN THE CITY OF BELLINGHAM; AND THE RESOLUTION KELLOGG ROAD FROM THE WOODS ROAD WESTERLY 1000 FEET WITHIN UNINCORPORATED WHATCOM COUN Y IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that it is their intention to pave the Woods Road, 36 feet wide with curb and gutters, sidewalk on one side, water system, storm drainage system and street lighting and pave the Kellogg Road, 44 feet wide with curbs and gutters, water system, sewer system, storm drainage system, sidewalks on both sides and street lighting. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown: PURPOSE Engineering Right.of Way Acquisition Sub -Total Construction AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION $ 50,000.00 $ 50,000.00 TOTAL $ 450,000.00 This project is included in the officially adopted annual road program as Item # © The project is hereby made a part of the officially adopted annual road program in accordance with RCW 36.81.130 as Item # 18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: (Check appropriate box) © The construction is to be accomplished by contract in accordance with RCW 36.77.020 et. seq. Rushing , Director of Public Works`�Co SUBJECT: Proposed Initiating Resolution in the Matter of Amending the One -year Road Program By Adding thereto the Improvements for Kellogg and Woods Road Project Attached hereto is initiating resolution for Project 99119 amending the Whatcom County One -year Road Program by making part of Woods Road and Kellogg Road part of the 1984 one -year road program. Also attached is an ordinance for introduction to reflect the $450,000 of addi- tional income and transfers of action of a physical nature that shall be needed in connection with this project; an ordinance adopting a supplementary budget for the Whatcom County road fund 1984 budget. Please be advised that the initiating resolution and ordinance must pass the County Council by unanimous vote by all those present and voting.
