RESOLUTION NO. 85 -64
RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 85 -30
TO SELL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY COUNTY ON
TAX FORECLOSURE.
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of June, 1985, the Whatcom County
Council authorized the sale of certain described real estate in
Sudden Valley; and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council authorized the property
to be sold in a single unit for cash; and
WHEREAS, the sale occurred and no purchasers came forward
to purchase said property; and
WIiEREAS, there are now purchasers who wish to obtain a
portion of the lots and it would be in the best interest of
Whatcom County to sell these lots individually;
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED chat Resolution No. 85 -30
shall be amended co allow the sale of the below enumerated lots
individually as follows:
1. Sudden Valley, Division 8, Lot 70, shall be sold
for a minimum price of $915.00, plus costs.
2. Sudden Valley, Division 1.6, Lot 39, shall be sold
for a minimum price of $763.06, plus costs.
3. Sudden Valley, Division 16, Lot 14, shall be sold
for a minimum price of $766.48, plus costs.
4. Sudden Valley, Division 22, Lot 7, shall be sold
for a minimum price of $789.46, plus costs.
5. Sudden Valley, Division 28, Lot 74, shall be sold
for a nrinimnan price of $764.61, plus costs.
6. Sudden Valley, Division 28, Lot 75, shall be sold
for a minimum price of $740.63, plus costs.

7. Sudden Valley, Division 28, I.ot 76, shall be sold
for a minimum price of $795.37, plus costs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sales shall be for cash and
not a real estate contract;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in this sale the County transfers
to the purchaser all coal, oil, gas, gravel, minerals, ores,
fossils, timber or other resources on or in said lands and the
right to mine for and remove the same consistent with all
applicable laws;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this order shall be subject
to the certification of the County Treasurer. Once the Treasurer
shall certify that the price set in this Resolution is the actual
amount of taxes which are owed to the County as provided for in
RCW 86.64.270, he shall direct the sale to take place;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Whatcom County Treasurer is
hereby directed to sell such property at not less than the
certified price and said sale shall take place in accordance
with the duties as established in RCW 84.64.270.
